Trust pages age poorly when they’re vague, so here is the whole model, in order, as of 01 October 2026.
The streams, present and planned
| Stream | Status | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising (AdSense/Ezoic-class) | Planned — once traffic justifies it | Article margins only, never inside data tables |
| Hotel affiliates (Booking.com/Agoda-class) | Planned — stay guides carry them | Stay guides, marked per property |
| Operator lead-gen | Planned — Phase 3 onward | Designated slots only; vetted operators; clearly labelled |
| Own packages | A Year-2 decision, gated on list size and operator economics | Would be a labelled product, never a hidden markup |
Affiliate links and sponsored slots are labelled at the point they appear. Data — timings, fees, procedures, dates — never carries a commercial placement.
The hard lines
- We never resell darshan slots or official services. Booking guidance points to official portals only; where a paid official channel exists (state tourism packages, TTD tickets, IRCTC heli), it is marked as official.
- No pay-to-play in data. No hotel buys a distance tier; no operator buys a route recommendation.
- No fake experience. First-hand claims appear only when a visit happened and is documented (Yatra Journal).
- Affiliate slots never override fit — a stay’s distance tier is set by walking distance, not commission.
Questions
If any page ever looks like it breaks these lines, the contact page is the right place to say so — corrections are checked against the source register and shipped fast.
Frequently asked questions
Do you make money from bookings I make?
Stay guides may carry affiliate links (labelled); the commission comes from the platform at no cost to the reader.
Is any content sponsored?
No sponsored content exists in the current system, and the architecture keeps it out of data pages.
